Groundbreaking Day at Church

Our church is about to build a new children's building. They have been raising the money over the last 2 months and now have all the cash in hand to start (which is amazing that they do that in that order!). So this past Sunday they had the official "groundbreaking" ceremony and they asked Weston to hold a shovel for it and dig some dirt. He of course was very excited about it and knew just what to do. Here's some pictures from Sunday....

Day with Dad

So last Friday was this little boy's dream come true. He got to start the day with Dad waking him up. He got all dressed up in his boots and flannel shirt (even a pen in his front pocket....just like dad). He got to drink coffee with dad and then load up in the big Tilson truck for the whole morning. They left the house and headed out to Medina Lake to check on of Logan's houses. Logan said he had a blast...he got to ride in the dump truck and operate the controls and do the same with the bobcat. This is a little boy's paradise!

After they left that house they got to go to a concrete pour that Logan had at a house in San Antonio. Weston was right in the middle of it all as you can imagine.

Logan brought him home after the pour for his nap. It was getting close to his nap time and he told me he was tired and needed to go night night. He has NEVER said this to me. He was already in his bed when I came into his room. I think he's adrenaline must have been on full blast all morning. It was definitely a day he'll never forget. Caleb will have to have his turn in a few years....and then Tyson in a few more years :)

34 Weeks

I have been terrible about taking pictures this pregnancy. I think my last one was around 4 months....well now I'm 8 months pregnant and my how belly has changed! He is growing big (as you can tell) and I'm feeling really good for the most part. Yes, I'm still running.....about 3 or 4 miles 4 times a week (on the treadmill....wouldn't want ANYONE to see me!). Some days it feels great and other days it feels terrible and like he's about to drop out of me :) My doctor is wanting to induce me at 39 weeks (very end of February) if he hasn't come before then. She knows my boys tend to be on the bigger side....so we'll see. He is getting heavy and my back is hurting some but not too bad....I'm sure the majority of it is from thing 1 and thing 2 named Weston and Caleb.
And I guess I haven't officially announced this on here but he's name is going to be Tyson. We wanted to use Logan's middle name, Tyler, somehow and decided to change it a little bit. We're still not sure on his middle name but we have a few weeks yet to decide that!!

Last Few Weeks

I haven't blogged in awhile but there has been plenty going on. These two boys are busy everyday....doesn't matter what day it is. I got these pictures really quick one morning before church. They were wearing their new shirts they got for Christmas.

We got an ipad for Christmas and it has been a hit lately. They both...yes, both....are enjoying playing on it. Who knew a 1 1/2 year old knows how to play games....well he does! Weston teaches us stuff about it. It's crazy to think what technology will be like in their life time.

We still spend most night out in the driveway or in the garage. Playing in dad's truck is one of their favorite things to do. Caleb has loved wearing his headlamp lately.

This is how Caleb rides the tricycle.....he can go all the way around the entire house doing that.

But sometimes I find him like this....

They are playing possum....yeah right like they'd sleep that close to each other without killing each other...maybe in like 20 years!

It's great living in San Antonio in January and not somewhere freezing cold. We've still been able to go to the park and enjoy most days playing outside.

One night we loaded up the green car and took it to this park. Weston had a BLAST riding it all over the trails. There were this really skinny bridges that he had to go over and he wouldn't even slow down to cross them. But the crazy thing is that he cleared them perfectly every time. He's a pretty amazing driver for age 3 :)

We went and spent the day last Friday with Brittany and Parker. They were having their driveway paved so the boys had a great time watching the bobcat move dirt.

Weston got some leggos for Christmas but they are TINY! I didn't even know leggos could get that tiny and detailed. We've built a few things the last few nights and he's had fun watching and playing with them. While we're building them he's always asking what is taking so long :)

Our Christmas Travels 2011

We had a great Christmas week...I say week because it lasted that long with us traveling from one family to the next. It was so fun to have Logan off of work and to all be together for that long. We left the day before Christmas Eve and headed up to Weatherford. We got to see Papaw Platt and Mamaw while we were there. My Papaw had a stroke over Thanksgiving and they have both moved now to an assisted living place in Weatherford. It was good to see them but hard to keep the boys entertained in their room without them destructing something!

Next, we headed to Melody's on Christmas Eve and spent the night with them that night. We got to go to their Christmas Eve service at their church. The boys had a blast of course playing with Kiersi and Kayden.

Cookies before bed....makes perfect sense :) Oh well...it's Christmas!!!

Tyson even got something from his Aunt Mel....really cute! I can't wait for him to be here!

Santa did find us even though we weren't at our house.....

My sister and brother-in-law were great hosts as usual and it was a fun time with them. We ate some homemade cinnamon rolls the next morning (Christmas day) and then got on the road headed to Kansas. When we got there everyone was already over there eating and celebrating. Aunt Janet gave all of us aprons her friend had made....mine has an interesting bump underneath it :)

Weston was introduced to the Wii and loved it.....he actually was better than I thought. Kai can beat me at anything he plays :) They had fun playing on this together.

It was funny going from my sister's house where they were pushing around baby doll strollers to getting to Mimi's house and they are pushing around dumptrucks while they are shooting bad guys with their dart guns! Oh my the differences!!

Krieger family.....Baby Nate was born November 29th....he's as cute as can be and definitely looks like the other 2 boys.

If that happens I better be getting a picture of it :)

On Thursday, we all loaded up and went to the zoo. It's the best zoo that I've ever been to before. The boys had a great time.

Mimi tried to work a little magic with Caleb on the potty chair. He never went but he sure didn't mind sitting on it. It was too cute to see him up there with his squishy legs and puppy in his hand.

We had a great time in Kansas.....really hard to leave....harder this time than ever before and maybe somewhat because Mallory and Jason are living there now and we know it's going to be awhile before we see everyone again. Thanks for a great Christmas and time together. We love you all!

And yes, this is real......this is Weston asleep on the way home. We did for the first time ever have some actual overlap of them BOTH sleeping at the same time. Now it didn't last very long but it was glorious for those few minutes.

We stopped back in Weatherford on the way back and stayed a night. Pops and Grams actually let us and Melody and Greg all go out while they kept the kids. We had a lot of fun....went to eat and then went to Starbucks and played cards and did a lot of laughing. The boys had to get in a few rides on the big blue tractor before we could head home. Thanks Pops!

We also celebrated our 6th anniversary on New Year's Eve. We drove home and unpacked the car that day but it was a day spent together so that's all that matters. I am so thankful for my hubby.....he continues to be my very best friend and someone that I want to spend my time with. We have a blast together and love doing so many things with each other. He loves the Lord with his whole heart and always puts Him first when leading our family and making decisions. I am so very thankful for him and that the Lord brought us together 6 years ago.

Crazy Christmas Party

I'm not sure these photos are quite appropriate to be posted.....but it was too good of a memory not to include this on my blog. The night before we left town for Christmas, Justin Hobbs, had their annual Christmas party at their house. It was an ongoing tradition of him and his wife, Cara, to host every year. She passed away last March so I didn't really think that the tradition would continue. Well last minute Justin decided to have it. It was based on the movie "Christmas Vacation" and it was a blast. We all had some really good laughs. The guys were to dress like Cousin Eddie from the movie and the girls like a 1980's housewife. Justin Harper and Andrew Watson got the best dressed award and you'll know why as you see these pictures.

Yes, that's my husband in the 1970's get up (not the one in the robe :) with hair slicked back, keys on a chain on his belt loop, short/tight pants, and the most hideous looking shoes around. If you haven't seen the movie then none of this would make much sense.

I think I look like I'm headed to a nursing home......I look like I am 80 and not dressing for the 1980's......but it's hard to pull off ANY costume when you're 7 months pregnant!!!

What a fun night with lots of laughing.....but gosh we miss our sweet friend Cara.....she would have been decked out in some tacky outfit that she put together.

Cookies with Mrs. Linda

We had a fun fun morning with Mrs. Linda. She came over and we all got to make sugar cookies together. I love this lady to pieces and she has become a part of our family! She loves on my boys so much and is an amazing example to me. We had a great morning and ended up with some pretty cute cookies! I think the boys ate their fair share of sprinkles and icing along way :)

Our Little Family Christmas

Since we travel every year for Christmas, we've started our own tradition of doing our own little family Christmas before we leave. So last night we had our time together. We started with yummy soup that is Dad's favorite. I lit the candles on the table and actually let them eat on the actual table....this is VERY rare...normally we have a plastic tablecloth on it. Even though there was the normal screaming and getting out of our chair during dinner it was still a fun dinner together.

Then of course we had to blow all those candles out :) Look at these 2 cheesy grins....love them!

Earlier yesterday the boys and I had made Jesus a birthday cake. Weston helped me put sprinkles all over it and decorate it. He was very proud of it. So after dinner we put on our party hats and sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus. The boys loved it and took turns blowing out the candle for Him. Weston told me that Jesus wanted a vacuum cleaner and a swimming pool for his birthday :)

Then the best part.....eating the yummy cake!

Then....this is what happens at our house after the party.....

After dinner and cake, Logan told the Christmas story while we acted it out with our nativity scene. Weston liked this....it was cute to get to do it this way.

Then we opened presents to each other. The boys knew exactly what to do. They were sure cute about it all. Weston had gotten each of us something through Awanas at church. It was all wrapped up and everything. That was really special that they do that for them. He gave each of us our presents and then proceeded to play with the one he gave Caleb all night :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE my 2 boys and hubby.....(and 3rd one on the way). This is one of my favoritest nights as a family. I know it'll only get more and more fun the older they get and the more they start really understanding why we are celebrating. I am so thankful for all that He has put in my life right now. The impact that one birth made that night so many years ago is beyond amazing to think about. I'm SO thankful that it has impacted and forever changed our house, our family, and how we live our lives.

Pops & Grams and the Bearded Man

Grams and Pops came down last weekend for a quick trip. We were so excited to see them and the boys were beside themselves excited to play with both of them. They got here during the boys' naps and Weston came running out of his room and ran and hugged both of them when he got up. He sure loves them!! We had a good time with them while they were here....finished up some Christmas shopping, went to chickfila, and went and saw Dad in our Christmas play at church.

Yes, the bearded man is my hubby. He's been growing for awhile...maybe a month and a half and I guess in man terms....He's a man...because it was really thick and came in all the way. Oh I'm so proud....don't I sound like it? Our church did a drive-thru Christmas production of the life of Christ. It was really neat. Logan played Jesus in the second scene when he talked with Nicodemus. It started with the manger scene and went all the way through to His resurrection. They gave you a CD to put in your car while you drove thru to all the different scenes. It was really neat and we've heard that 2 people came to know the Lord through it. Awesome! (sorry my pictures aren't very good....he had a wig that was awesome...wish I had a better shot of it)

So these are the last pictures before he went in to shave it on Saturday night. Is it all the way gone? No....he thinned it quite a bit but it's still really pokey :)

Santa Party

Sweet Cole had his first birthday last week and Catherine had a Santa party for him. She hired a Santa Claus to come and see the kids. It was really cute and all the kids loved it.....well most of them. Caleb only liked it if Momma was holding him :) So my big belly got to sit on Santa's lap too....I'm sure he was dying!!! We had a great time and it was fun to hear Weston talk to Santa. He said he wanted trains....big surprise!! I love these pictures of him with Santa....too cute!

Brothers that love each other???

We have finally turned a corner.....the last few weeks have been totally different around the Cross house. I have seen a huge change in how these 2 boys care about each other. They play together a LOT now, sing to each other, ask about each other, and share with one another. I'm not saying it's perfect by any means but it's an improvement. I'm so thankful for it and love to watch them with each other. Everyday Weston insists on singing to Caleb in his crib before he goes to sleep for his nap. And the crazy thing is that Caleb doesn't cry if he has sung to him!! Weston gets Caleb to eat things on his plate that I'm begging him to eat by just telling him to eat it! Oh my....the influence of an older brother! I'm so thankful for these 2 and can only imagine the fun it's going to be to watch all 3 of them together.

This is their new "clubhouse"...it's under Weston's bed with the trundle pushed out. It's really cute to see them playing under there together.

Weston loves picking up Caleb when he hugs him....yes, he is strong...Caleb weighs probably 27 lbs or so now!!

Craft Day, Emerald Rainbow, and Christmas Parade

Last Friday, we got to go make some fun crafts with MOPS up at our church. The boys made the cutest table runner with their handprints, graham cracker stable, pipe cleaner Christmas tree, and paper angels. Weston had a great time making all the stuff and Caleb had fun eating the graham crackers :)

Saturday was cold and rainy so we headed up to Emerald Rainbow. Logan doesn't get to go there often with us so it was fun to get to go with him. The boys had a blast. Caleb was fascinated with the bowling lanes so we let them bowl a few times. I'm surprised the floor wasn't cracked after we left :)

Saturday night we headed to the Boerne Christmas parade. It was a lot of fun. Logan hates parades for some reason (I told him he can't live in Boerne if he doesn't like parades) but he agreed to go and I think he had fun too. We met Scott and Catherine and their boys their. They had a lot of fun watching all the floats go by.

Turkey Trot and Thanksgiving

We headed up to Weatherford for Thanksgiving this year. A few weeks ago, Rick (my 2nd dad), asked me to run in the turkey trot 10K with him. I agreed and then as the days went by I started really having my doubts. I've been running but on the treadmill most of the time and not 6 miles. The most I had been doing was about 4 or 4 1/2 miles. I got more and more nervous as the day came closer. He of course promised to go slow and even walk if I needed to.....he just wanted to do it with me. So we headed over to Fort Worth on Thanksgiving morning and did the run. It actually felt really good....lots better than any of my running on the treadmill. I'm sure it helped to have him to talk to and also so many people and things to look at besides the wall on the opposite of the room (when I'm on the treadmill). We ran pretty slow but never walked and we finished just over an hour. I'm not too ashamed at that for being 6 months pregnant!!!! Thanks Ricky for taking it easy and getting me to run a race....that'll definitely be something to tell this little boy when he gets here.

Thanksgiving was great! We had all my dad's side of the family over at my mom's house. It was really fun just to be with everyone. The food was great of course but even better was just to see all my cousins, aunts & uncle, and grandma. We played games after we ate which was a lot of fun too.

I think Aunt Mel bonded with Caleb over the weekend. They had fun being together. And all the kids had a blast! They were so hyper.....Weston and Caleb LOVE being with those girls. They are so busy and always doing something with them.

My dad gets the award.....he played with all of the kids constantly. Here he is writing with sidewalk chalk on their driveway. He took them on the golf cart, blue tractor, and down to see the train. They sure love their Pops!!!

The cold front came in on Saturday morning and so we had to get creative because as you know you cannot have 4 kids inside all day!!! So Pops has keys to the church gym and we went up there and played. We had a blast. We even got a game of kickball going with the kids. We had bases (which Caleb was always stealing) and taught them how to run the bases. It was really fun.

I am so thankful for my family. We had a great weekend being with everyone.

Putting up the Christmas Tree & Smores Again

We decided to put the tree up the weekend before Thanksgiving since we were leaving town. The boys were ecstatic about it....especially Weston! He saw Logan get all the boxes out of the attic a few days before and could hardly stand the wait till Saturday when we got it all out. They were big helpers putting up everything. And the best part of the day is when Weston gets to go plug in the lights every night. We keep reminding him that we are getting ready for a big party....to celebrate Jesus' birthday. We are trying to keep the focus on Christ as much as possible this year. Weston is like a sponge and picking up on everything this year...so much more than last year.

Can you tell who put the red balls on the tree? I have such great helpers! I know my tree will look different for the next few years but I have to admit I love it and it reminds me how special is makes them feel to be a part of decorating it.

After we got the tree up, we made fajitas on the grill and cooked smores in the backyard again. Maybe this will be our new tradition after we put up the Christmas tree every year. The boys of course loved making and eating them!

New HEB Plus!

It's not everyday in our small town that we get a new HEB! So we decided to brave the crowds and go to the grand opening. It's a great store and the boys loved the new carts that have the steering wheels! Caleb didn't so much like the HEB mascot....he was terrified and wanted to get away quick.

Our checker gave us a stack of HEB buddy bucks so we spent awhile putting all of them in and getting our stickers. Big fun for 2 little boys!

Smores and Football

We were supposed to go camping last Friday night but when we saw the weather and realized it was going to be in the 30's....we reconsidered :) So everyone decided to come to our house instead and we had hot dogs and smores. It was a lot of fun and much better to go to sleep in our warm beds!

This is our new favorite at night.....tackle football. Both boys love to get tackled by Dad. Caleb got down in a 3-point stance without us even telling him to do it. I can only imagine how much football in our future!

My 2 Pumpkins

Here's my 2 pumpkins for Halloween this year.....Caleb was cookie monster and Weston was Mr. Incredible. Caleb loved saying "cookie" over and over and Weston loved showing you his BIG muscles. They wore the costumes for a good 3 weeks before Halloween was ever here. They loved playing in them and I had to beg them to take them off.

This is how we role at picture taking in pumpkins.....face crammed with a graham cracker :) We got a few pictures....at least they are in the same picture :) That is about my expectations these days.

This was on the way to go trick-or-treating. They had a great time and had it figured out pretty quickly how to get candy.

We went trick-or-treating with our small group. It was all of them and a lot of others kids....it was really fun! Weston would get some candy and then hug the person afterwards....I'm sure they didn't really know what to think of him :)

Airplane and Kansas

We went to Kansas for a few days last week to visit. I flew up by myself on Tuesday with both boys. To be honest it was terrible. I'll never do it again. Weston did fine but Caleb can't sit still. He was all over the place. The worst part was that we had to connect in Dallas and ride the tram around the entire airport. We only had 45 minutes in between our flights and almost missed our connecting flight. We were the last ones to board so the boys didn't get to run around in between and expend some energy. So needless to say the second flight was terrible. Caleb screamed and I cried. I was SO glad to get there. I will never do that again....or at least not for a really long time. Logan flew up on Thursday night after work and so he was with us on the way home and it was much better. Don't let that sweet face in the picture fool you :)

Despite the flight, we had a great time in Kansas. Pawpaw took Weston fishing on Tuesday afternoon when we got there. Weston didn't last too long because they weren't catching anything. He got bored pretty quick. But they lasted long enough for me to get some pictures. Caleb had fun in the rocks :)

A cold front hit the night we got there and it got really cold!!! We had to make do on bundling the boys because I did not bring proper Kansas attire. It's been 80's here and I sure wasn't expecting it to be that cold. They had a blast riding around in the jeep.

Caleb is shopping with Mimi at Sam's. I'm not sure we could afford him :)

We got to see all Judy's side of the family one night for dinner. The boys had fun seeing everyone too. Here's a picture of all the kids....

Saturday, we took them to a pumpkin patch just outside of Wichita. It was a lot of fun and perfect for their ages. There was tons to do....definitely the best one I've been to for their ages.

The slide was a favorite...somehow the pregnant one couldn't go straight down the slide....go figure...I'm all turned and about to fall over with Caleb :( I'm sure that looked really cute.

We even got to find our way through the corn maze!

We got to feed some goats and see a bunny.

Weston got to ride the zip line. They had to lift him up for him to grab the bar because he was so much shorter than all the other bigger kids. He did great and held on the entire time!

The barrell train behind the lawnmower is always a fun time too. Caleb actually rode it all by himself and stayed sitting down the entire time. I thought that was a pretty good accomplishment!

A sandbox filled with corn! I thought it was an awesome idea until Logan informed me that if we did that hear the deer would rip off our sandbox cover to get to the corn and eat it!

Mimi and I found this at a garage sale for $30! Once they got a battery for it and got it working, we couldn't get Weston off of it! He loved it!

The ride home was much better :) Weston found a new way to travel through the airport! Thanks Mimi and Pawpaw for flying us up to visit! We love you and will see you at Christmas....but no flying next time :)

My Little Boys

They came in from the garage to show me Caleb's hair.....they used the shop vac on it!!! Silly boys!

We attempted watercoloring the other day. It was pretty cold so we decided to take it inside. Then, Caleb started eating his paintbrush, stuck his hand in the water, and then started slapping the table which sprayed watercolor everywhere. Needless to say, we didn't paint very long.

The boat was out of the garage so dad made them a really cool car ramp. They had a blast riding their trucks/airplane on it.

Caleb is saying quite a few words now but has also started babbling some Chinese or something like it. Here's a little clip of it in the car the other night. It was dark so you can't see anything.

I realized the other day that I never posted all these pictures of my boys. My mom had these taken in July at her house by Melissa Madey of Moments Photography. She did a great job considering the 2 goobers she had to work with :) It was exhausting to try to get them to do anything you wanted.....but they did have fun playing on the tractor! I sure do love my boys and love seeing their expressions in these pictures.

Grams & Pops, A&M/Baylor Game

Don't they look like they just love each other??? I can't quite remember what I was bribing them with at the time. I do see glimpses of it every now and then.....definitely my prayer for them and what I'm hoping to see grow in them.

We left Tuesday morning and headed up to my parents house for a few days. Weston does great in the car.....dvd player! Caleb doesn't seem to really watch the movies and gets bored easily in the car. He is definitely a challenge to entertain while I'm driving. I have a basket of random things that I hand one-by-one back to him to keep him from screaming. His favorite is my sunglasses. He likes to put them around his neck and play with them.

We got there Tuesday and then drove up to my sister's house for the day on Wednesday. The boys had a blast playing with the girls. Since Kiersi is in kindergarten now we got to all go pick her up from school. She didn't know we were coming so it was a big surprise. It was a really fun day with them.

They rode bikes up and down the sidewalk for a long time. I think my sister was just glad to get my boys out of her house :) They are so VERY different than the girls!

My cute Caleb and his favorite 2 things....his fingers and his (really ugly) pink pillow. It was a really old throw pillow that I kept in my car for my back while I was driving. He somehow got it one time in the car and now it's his favorite. He likes to carry it around and sleep with it.

Back and Grams and Pops house, Weston and Pops set themselves up a soccer goal to practice kicking the ball into. They had fun playing on the driveway.

Caleb had a little bug while we were there so he didn't feel the greatest the first few days. We tried to do the pumpkin patch in town one morning but the 2 of them weren't quite cooperating.....anyone surprised?? This is about as good as the pictures got!

We went to Cherry park in town and played for awhile. I used to love that park and my how it's changed! They have the best playground equipment now.

We got to go to lunch at Chick-fil-a (of course) and then we went up to Pops office for a ride on the forklift. Weston talks about this all the time. He is so fascinated with machinery. Caleb wasn't so sure about it.

The best part of Weston's whole time there was Thursday afternoon when Pops came home early and then got to ride & drive the big blue tractor. Pops taught him how to drive it and he was in heaven helping him do stuff with it. He got to pull out a chain of the bucket for him and he thought he was big stuff! I might add that he did that all by himself and I'm figuring that was pretty heavy.

These 2 are quite a pair.....but I will say Caleb didn't like it one bit when they left him. It was really sad when they took off because Caleb would just lose it and cry for them to come back for him.

We got to feed the ducks one morning....Caleb was making sounds like the ducks.

Grams has "craft" time with the girls when they come to visit so she thought she'd try it with the boys. My how different they are. Caleb had fun with the markers but it didn't last too long once he started drawing on Grams' table. Weston had fun with the scissors and construction paper but I don't think any awesome masterpiece came out of it beside a lot of tiny shreds of paper :) Grams decorated a cute pumpkin though :)

We came home on Saturday morning. We were really ready to see Dad. We missed him. The Baylor/A & M game was going on when we got home. Since we are a split family we each got a boy dressed in the t-shirt. Sorry but I think Caleb got the raw end of the deal :( I think he knew it because he was NOT happy for this picture. And side note, he pooped on his t-shirt later. Maybe that was a reflection of the game :( because we got killed.

Rock Boy

So the day after finding out we're having 3 boys, I get called into our church nursery to find out that Weston has stuck a rock up his nose on the playground. I went in to see him and he was surrounded by several ladies who were all trying to get it out. We tried getting him to blow his nose, sneeze (we gave him pepper), but nothing was working. So I ran over to Walgreens and bought a sinus rinse bottle with saline and tried to wash it out. That didn't work at all and made him really mad. So I decided to take him to the minor emergency clinic. We got there and they said they would try to remove it but they weren't sure they could get it out. After waiting forever, they finally came in and the doctor tried to get it out. I could tell they didn't work with kids very much and needless to say they didn't even come close. I was pretty frustrated and upset by this time (as was Weston). They thankfully refunded our money and referred us to the Sinus center in town. We went over there and waited again forever. Which side note, I must add that my child did awesome waiting all afternoon in doctor's offices. I was really proud of how he acted considering the circumstances. Anyways, they finally got us in and sprayed some stuff up his nose to numb it. Then with 5 of us (he is really strong) holding him down (not fun at all), they extracted the rock out of his nose. And yes, I will say rock and not pebble. He must have shoved it pretty hard to get it up there that far. So 3 hours later we were on our way home. Thankfully, the church workers and my sweet friend Linda kept Caleb while we were dealing with the rock. I can't even imagine what that 3 hours would have looked like with both boys in tow. So after all of that I just had to laugh (and cry) about just finding out that we're going to have 3 boys the day before! Is that the Lord having a sense of humor???

You can tell he was really bothered by the whole thing. We had to be creative to stay entertained that whole time. He was fine until they were holding him down.....he of course hated that!

Well leave it up to a 3 year old....he was right on! We have a very healthy and perfect little boy on his way. We are so thankful that everything measured and looked perfect on him. I have to admit I was in a little bit of shock realizing that I'm going to have 3 boys but I know this is obviously what the Lord has planned for our family and I'm excited to see his plans unfold. Our scanner doesn't work so sorry for the bad pictures but here's some of our little boy.

Last weekend we went camping at Canyon Lake at a place called Jellystone. It is a Yogi Bear campground. The Davis family went with us and we all had a blast!

We actually got to meet Yogi bear! Caleb was more ok with him than Weston.

We went on a "hey hey" ride.....it was big fun for the boys. Caleb was ready to jump overboard by the end of it.

They had a really cool swimming pool. There was a fire hose that had water spraying out of it. Weston never left it. He didn't make too many friends in the pool because all he wanted to do was spray them with water.

Our room had bunkbeds in it so the boys thought they were big stuff to get to sleep and play up on top. The cabins were really nice.....oh yes, it was cabins....no tent camping this time which was a nice change. We had a full kitchen and a bathroom! It was awesome! We cooked our own food and had dinner together :)

This was definitely Weston's favorite thing all weekend. They had a huge sandbox with a scooper thing in it. He was fascinated with it and tried to figure out how it worked the whole time.

They also got to do some gold mining. They found some really cool diamonds and gold.....I'm sure we are rich now.

Cinnamon Toast, Bathtime, Parker, Cookies and the Park

So I dumbly let Weston put his own sugar on his cinnamon toast....can you even see the bread??? Hardly! Don't worry I didn't let him eat it. He would have been bouncing off the walls! His dad said he takes after his Pawpa.

Weston put a piece of conduit in his car just like Logan carries in the back of his truck. He was driving his car around the yard with it hanging out the back :)

Aunt B and Parker came and spent the day with us Friday before last for my birthday. It made my day!! We had a really great time talking and letting the boys play. Later, Logan took me out to dinner. It was a fun night with him.

So one of my prayers lately is for them to really start loving each other and showing love to each other. We haven't seen too much of it yet instead I'm normally playing referee with them. Last night we went to the park and it was like 2 different kids! They were playing together and Weston kept telling him he loved him! I've never even heard him say that unless we make him. Needless to say it was a great night and I had to remember it by a few pictures :)

Labor Day Weekend

This was our BIG surprise when we got home from Oregon. Logan's parents flew down to keep the boys at our house while we were gone. They got the boys this REALLY fun car while we were gone. We didn't know about it until right when we got in the car at the airport Weston immediately started telling me about his new green car. He LOVES it!!! He drives Caleb all over the yard. It's really fun to watch them. He's actually becoming a really good driver. Thank you thank you thank you Mimi and Pawpa for coming and staying with us and getting us a really fun car! We love it and you (weston & caleb).

On Saturday, we went to Parker's 1st birthday party. We were a little early so we went to Landa Park and played at the playgroup and rode the train. These boys LOVE the train!!!

I can't believe he turned a year old!!! He is so stinkin cute and I love him so much. We had a great time celebrating with them.

That night we went to the Kendall county rodeo here in Boerne. Weston got to ride some rides and we made it for a few of the very beginning events at the rodeo. We definitely need a few more years to make it more enjoyable!

OREGON!!

Logan and I got to go on a trip just the two of us!!! It was so much fun and a great week for us just to hang out together. Mallory and Jason had been to Oregon earlier this year and it had sparked outrinterest. Then, Southwest put their airfare on sale so we decided to jump on it and plan it. We flew into Portland and drove to different towns, basically making one big circle while we there. On our flight into Portland, we were able to see Crater Lake (pictured below) from the plane. It was one of the things we wanted to see but weren't able to get to. It was awesome to see from being up so high!

After we got into Portland, we got our cool rental car and decided to try one of the famous food carts that they have in the city. Basically it's a big trailer that they serve food out of. The one we went to served grilled cheeses. But they were grilled cheeses with a kick! They were awesome and we loved every bite! They actually had turned an old school bus into a place to eat with tables and chairs.

From Portland, we headed east. We got to stop and see this gorgeous view of the Columbia River Gorge.

Then we stopped at several amazing waterfalls that were right off the road. They were breath-taking!

This is the most famous one called Multnomah Falls. It was the highest one and it was beautiful! We hiked to the top and got a gorgeous view of it.

Sadly I don't have a picture of this, but one of our favorite things of the trip happened right after the waterfalls. We met some local people at the falls that told us about a local farmers market at one of the middle schools in the town (Hood River) that we were going to that night. So we headed straight there. It was awesome! There were just little table set up on the lawn and everyone had their produce sitting out to sell. It was SO SO good!!! We got all kinds of berries, some bread, and almond butter. It was our breakfast/snack/lunch the next day.

Our first night we stayed in Hood River at the Vagabond Inn. We tried not to stay at any chain motels but instead at the local places so we could meet more of the people. This room wasn't anything fancy but it worked......yes 2 beds.....can you guess which one I got??? Romantic isn't it?

We also agreed not to go to any chain restaurants while we were there. So the first morning we went to Bette's. She makes homemade cinnamon rolls that were as big as a plate! She had just pulled some out of the oven when we got there. Oh my! There were SO yummy! They melted in your mouth. So that was definitely another one of my favorites :)

After breakfast we headed to a place called Lost Lake. It's right outside of Mount Hood and we read that it was a fun place to go hike. On the way we drove through and area known as the "fruit loop". It was so beautiful. This picture doesn't do it justice....but it was the most amazing fertile land with orchard after orchard and vineyard after vineyard as far as you could see. It was like something out of the movies. I just couldn't get over how green and lush everything was!

Lost Lake was basically in the boonies. We did a long hike once we got there up to a place that opened up and we had an awesome view of Mt. Hood. It was really beautiful to see it from there.

This one Logan took for his parents......acting like he was falling off the cliff. His dad would have been nervous just watching him get that close.

After the long hike, we rented a canoe and paddled out on the lake. It was an awesome, perfectly calm lake. We got some cool pictures of the mountain.

From there, we headed back to Portland for the night. We had heard a lot about the Saturday market and wanted to see it. We stayed in downtown Portland Friday night and then got up early and headed down to the market. It was really neat to see all the things that they were selling.

We stopped to watch these 2 guys that were entertaining on the street and somehow I got called up to be in their show :( Logan took a video of it on his phone but basically they were throwing stuff around my head while I stood there.

We heard about another huge farmers market at the University of Portland. So we headed up there and it was awesome! This is what had booth after booth of amazing produce, more berries, and tons of fresh flowers. We ate the best peach I've ever had in my life! (Sorry Parker county)

From Portland, we headed south to a town called Bend. We had heard really neat things about it and that it was a neat, outdoorsy town. These were the hanging baskets on our way there! How sad it made my hanging basket look here at the house :(

We had an interesting night stay while we were in Bend. We went cheap on all of our rooms and while I was looking for a place I found a bed and breakfast for $55! It was a one night stay and a full breakfast! So we did it. Well it was interesting to say the least. This was our room in the picture below. TINY! It was just a bed in a room with hardly any room to even walk around. The other really awkward thing was that we had to share a bathroom with the other guests and it was down the hallway. So it wasn't the worst but it was a little awkward. Another guy that was staying in another room was walking to the bathroom down the hallway in his underwear the next morning! I mean REALLY? The walls were paper thin but oh well, we got through it :) The breakfast was really good the next morning!

We ate an amazing restaurant while we were there....Blacksmith. We had read in our travel book that they had a 4 course meal for a decent price. When we got in there we got a menu and both read it and were about to leave....it was SO expensive. We asked the waitress about the special we had heard about and she agreed to do it for us! It was some of the best food I've ever had. It was a really fun, fancy night! The town of Bend was neat and relaxed. Everyone was outside enjoying the weather. We met some really nice people while we were there.

We did some hiking the next morning outside of Bend. Once again we saw some amazing waterfalls! I think we hiked over 7 miles this day! I was pooped when we finished.

After the long hike, we headed into town and got a quick bite to eat and went white water rafting on the Deschutes River. It was really different than Colorado rafting but it was perfect for being pregnant. They called it class III rapids and that was enough for me. It was really short and didn't last very long. The one thing I kept saying before we went was that I didn't want to get stuck with overweight, uncoordinated people on our boat because I didn't want to fall out! Well, that's exactly what we got stuck with. It was really interesting and somehow we made it down with out anyone falling out till the end when a larger lady in our boat fell out. I was sorta glad when it was over :)

After rafting, we got in the car and made a pretty long drive over to the coast to Newport. We had some yummy pizza on the way. This is what it looked like while we driving most of the way! Amazing pine trees everywhere!!!

We stayed right on the beach in Newport. We actually left the windows up at night and heard the waves all night. It was awesome! The next morning we went to the Oregon State aquarium. It was pretty cool to see all the animals. We got to touch a bunch of stuff and see the biggest crab and starfish I've ever seen! We also got to see an octopus!

They had this one part that you walked through huge tanks! It was neat to see the fish that close.

After that we went to the lighthouse. While we were walking up to the lighthouse we saw a whale!!! This is a really quick video but you can see it!

After we finished there, we headed up the coast until we got to Seaside. Once we got checked in, we drove out to an area called Saddle mountain natural area and did some hiking. It was late but the time we got there. We did a REALLY hard and steep hike to reach this peak. Unfortunately the clouds started coming in and we couldn't see anything when we got to the top :( It was a big bummer because it would have been amazing! We saw some really pretty views on the way up though.

That night in seaside we stayed at the Hillcrest Inn in the "sweet retreat". The people there were so friendly. It was one of the smallest bathrooms we've seen. But it worked and we had a great night. You could sit on the toilet and wash your hands all at the same time.

Our last full day we headed to the beach. We did another hike in Ecola state park down to a secluded beach called Crescent Beach. It was so beautiful! The waves were huge and it was so peaceful to watch. The water was FREEZING!! You couldn't even stand in it without it hurting your feet!

On our hike down a HUGE tree had fallen on the trail. We had to climb over it and on it to get through it. It was a little scary but we made it. Needless to say, there weren't many people down at that beach since you had to take that trail to get there.

The beach was awesome because it was cool enough to not sweat, yet warm enough to be comfortable. After we sat on the beach most of the afternoon and talked and watched the waves, we ate an awesome burger and then headed back to Portland. We checked in to our motel right by the airport and Logan noticed this on the wall when we checked in.

We were the guests of the day at the Rodeway Inn! What does that get you? Well not much.....2 bottles of water and some trail mix. But it was a good laugh too. Yes, they actually change that frame out everyday for a different guest!

We flew early the next morning and got to see our squishy boys!!! I missed them sooo much. But thanks to Mimi and her iphone we got plenty of texts and videos of them which made it easier. It was a great trip and really great time to get to be with Logan. I'm so thankful that he's my best friend and we have so much fun together. We love doing the same things which makes going on vacations together a blast!

Family of......

So these will not work any longer for our family.......

because we are growing to a family of 5! Yes, that's right.....I'm pregnant and we're expecting our 3rd child on March 6, 2012. So no motel rooms with 2 beds or tables for 4 will be in our future. We'll be that family that needs the fold out couch or extra chair! We are really excited and are pretty confident that this will be the last of our announcements :) We find out boy or girl on October 4th and I don't think that day can come quick enough.

My Boys Lately

It's been so hot here so we've just been trying to create indoor fun....not easy with 2 crazy, active boys!!! We normally try to play outside as long as Mama can stand it....not very long. It's like they don't even realize how hot it is. We've been at the neighborhood pool lots, playing in the water hose often, having random dance parties, going to Dad's softball games, going to Home Depot kid's workshops and anything else we can think to do. I sure love these boys to pieces. I am so thankful that I am their Mama and I get to stay home with them everyday. They seem to be growing and changing so fast lately.

Our old vacuum cleaner died so we got to get a new one. You would have thought we gave the kid a million dollars. He was so excited about a new vacuum cleaner!!! He's been begging to use it everyday since we got it home :) I know I'll be wishing for this one day. We had some fun out of the box!

We finally put a new battery in the motorized car we got from passed down from the Roberson boys. Caleb is loving it! His big brother isn't so sure about sharing it...imagine that :) so he thinks he needs to ride it with him!

McElhannons

So I've been meaning to post about this forever and felt like I was waiting for more answers before I put it on here but I'm not sure when that day will come. I think only the Lord knows that day. Our sweet friends, Justin and Misty McElhannon, from church are going through a really hard time. Justin has been diagnosed with 4 different auto immune diseases (RA, sclerdoma, polymyositis, and lupas) recently they added a fifth one that is affecting his lungs called interstitial lung disease. His lungs are the main concerns right now. He has been treated here in San Antonio and also taken two trips up to the Cleveland Clinic where they are treating him too. They have been amazing to see their faith and trust in our God through all of this. They have 3 boys, Bryce (who is about to start kindergarten), Brody, and Braxton. We love them all to pieces and just want Justin to get better. Please be praying for this special family to us. They are trying to live as normal as possible. He goes to work when he can but he experiences all kinds of intense pain and side effects ALL the time. He is currently on more medication that I can possible list or name. This past Wednesday night our church, FBC in Boerne, hosted a huge pancake benefit dinner for him and another family in our church. It was so amazing to see our church family come together for them. There were over 5oo people there and they had a huge silent auction. They raised $25,000 in one night! It's awesome to see the Lord work and bring people together through all of this. Fun at Grams and Pops House

We got to go up to Grams and Pops house weekend before last. Melody, Greg, and the girls were there too. We had a lot of fun getting to hang out for so long.

One night, we went and got snowcones.....yum yum!

All the cousins had a blast playing together on Pops and Grams HUGE driveway.

And of course lots of rides on the golf cart to go see the trains!

Caleb had plenty of room to roam around :) He got to try his big brother's bike!

They have a splash park at one of their city parks. It was so hot so they had a blast running from all the fountains.

We did LOTS of swimming....actually I think at least once a day!

On Saturday night, Aunt Diane, Ashley, and Grandma Martin came over and kept all the kids and we all got to go to the Ranger's game. It was a lot of fun to get to do that together without the kids. But it was REALLY hot.....but they won!

Awhile back my mom had the girls' pictures taken by a lady in Weatherford so she's been wanting to get the boys' pictures done. So she bought them really cute overalls to wear and we had them done one morning. I have to admit it was one of the most stressful hours ever because my boys weren't interested in doing anything we wanted them to do! But hopefully she got some cute ones......we'll see. Here's some my mom took before we got started.....

Part of having girl cousins means getting to play with baby dolls......Weston doesn't seem to mind :)

Logan and I got to go back on Sunday ALL BY OURSELVES!!! My parents kept the boys for a few days and let us have a little break. It was SO great and much needed. I haven't seen much of this love shown in the next few pictures but she took them while she kept them. I hope this is a new trend :)

Ashley Comes to Visit!

So this post is a litte late, but Ashley (my cousin) came down and spent a few days with us. The boys loved having her here and so did I! We got to play and play and play!!!

One day, we braved the heat and went to Kiddie Park in San Antonio. It was Caleb's first official time to go and he LOVED it. He loved most of the rides. It was cute to see them both doing something like that together.

Reid and Allison came and met us there too. Weston and Reid rode the helicopter things so many times I lost count. I was afraid he was going to throw up when he got off but he actually never did! He had fun with his buddy like usual :)

They rode the airplanes and Weston picked this one out of all the colors.....cute isn't it???? Caleb loved this ride too.

Probably a mistake seeing as how it was 100 degrees!!!! but we went over to the park that was closeby and had a picnic. It was pretty miserable but we made the best of it.

For some reason I didn't take many pictures while she was here but we had a great time with her. Thanks for taking the time to come down and see us! We love you!

Emerald Rainbow & Dinosaur Museum

We had a great week last week. We went to several different places. On Thursday we had playgroup at Emerald Rainbow in Bulverde. Both boys loved it! We hadn't been there in a long time so it was really fun to see Caleb loving it.

They just look like they love each other so much :) We're working on it :)

On Friday, Catherine and I took the older boys to a dinosaur exhibit at Rivercenter Mall. There were some big dinosaurs. We had fun looking at all the bones.

In this picture they are loving each other and hugging.......but these boys can sure fight too! They are best buds but I'm learning with boys that doesn't always mean they are being nice to each other. Sometimes they need a ringleader close by if they disagree. They are funny to watch sometimes.

July 4th Weekend

On Friday, Catherine and I took Weston and Braden to their first movie in the theater....Cars 2. They both did pretty well. Weston loved it and thought he was so big sitting in that big seat. Thank goodness for snacks and lots of them or we wouldn't have made it very long. I'm don't think we'll be going every week to the theater or anything but I do think he enjoyed it and did well enough to try it again. He is getting so old and can do so many big boy things now!

Friday night the Robersons met us at the pool to swim and eat dinner together. We hadn't seen them in awhile so it was great to catch up with them. The boys had a blast together of course!

Saturday was one of the most fun days I've had in a long time! I have been meeting this summer with a college girl named Megan. She's interning this summer with the youth at our church. We asked her to go to the lake with us on Saturday and she brought along 4 of her friends (Mattie, Sarah, Becky, and Kalie). We had a BLAST with them. I think I thought I was their age (20) again. I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. Here's some pictures from the day. Oh, and no Caleb, we got a babysitter for him and it was best for him. It's SO hot here right now and he would have been miserable on the boat for that long. Weston, however, was in heaven! All that attention from 5 college girls!!!

These pictures deserve some explaining.....we have 2 big tubes and we all six...yes, six, piled on ONE tube and made a pyramid!!!! We were laughing so hard I couldn't even breathe. It was SO fun! They are such a fun, amazing, group of girls that love the Lord.

Sunday we went to church. My boys gave me a little concert after Sunday school. Aren't they cute in their little blue and white striped shirts?

On the way home from church Weston started singing on of his songs off his favorite CD. It was so cute that I decided to record him. It's "His Banner of Me is Love".....but if you listen carefully he says "His Banner of me is wove".....LOVE IT!!!!

On Monday the 4th, we had Matt and Aren out to swim and eat lunch. Do you think we enjoy our neighborhood pool??? It's so fun and the crazy thing is that it's NEVER crowded!!! We love it!!!

I have 2 little fish for sure....they love the water and the older one has a really hard time getting out!

Future girlfriends???? I'd approve of them :)

Monday night we just stayed home. We made grilled burgers and ate leftover homemade ice cream. The boys loved it! Can you tell??

Fun with Parker & Outside Fun

This kid ADORES the sand. He actually goes face first on his belly and sorta swims in it. He's crazy! He is always covered basically from head to toe but he has so much fun. A friend told me baby powder.....it gets the sand right off. We tried it the other night and it worked awesome!

Our little fish is doing amazing with his swimming. He can basically swim anywhere by himself in the pool, jump off, go down and get things on the bottom (with a little push.....i think he's rather buoyant :), and anything else you dare the kid to do! He's really fearless but super fun and loves the water!

We went to Aunt B and Parker's house on Friday. The boys had a great time playing together. It was fun to get to be over there since they normally come here. Weston fell in love with Parker's stuffed Thomas.....it was hard to let that go when we had to leave :)

Ball Boy

Last night Logan had his first game of church softball. We all went to cheer him on. Weston was in paradise. He stayed in the dugout almost the entire time. He had so much being right by his dad's side. It made me smile just watching him. Caleb had a blast too......walking around, petting dogs, and eating snacks :) We have such an amazing church family. They really do feel like family to us so it was so fun to get to just hang out and talk with everyone. I'm looking forward to our Thursday nights at the ballpark!

Caleb has finally decided walking is best.....or most of the time. This past weekend he started doing a lot more walking. He'll even stand up in the middle of the floor and start again after he falls down. He's SO cute!!! I love this little boy!

Big fun last night on the driveway......Logan got a bagger attachment for his lawnmower for his birthday so the big box was the best fun.

Mini Vacation with My Family

This past weekend we did another "mini" vacation again except this time with my family. We actually just did a "staycation" and stayed at our house. It was tons easier for us not to travel. Grams and Pops and the Bradleys all came down for the weekend and stayed till Tuesday morning. We went to Lake Medina on Saturday. It was hot but a lot of fun! I LOVE that place!!!

On Sunday for Father's Day, all the dads went and played golf together. I think they had a great time together even though it was really hot.

And I am so thankful for my dad. So glad I got to be with him on Father's day this year. He means the world to me!

And Happy Father's Day to my Logan.....he's the best dad these boys could ever dream of having. They love him to pieces....just watch them with him. They ALWAYS choose him over me :( It's ok.....I love watching him with them. He gives them 100% attention when they are around and they love it. Actually all our friends kids love him too!! So we are so thankful for Dada!

I don't have many pictures of this but on Monday we went to Schlitterbahn. It was a blast!!!! I got a babysitter for Caleb which was a really really good decison. He would have been miserable and hot. Weston was FEARLESS! He rode every ride and not only rode it but loved it. He was so fun to watch. The girls enjoyed it too....little different than their crazy cousin but they did great too. Weston somehow lasted from 10am to almost 7pm!!! There was no nap or rest time in there but LOTS of snacks!!!! He was one tired boy!

Thanks mom and dad for a really fun weekend!!! Thanks everyone for making the drive down. We love you all lots!

I think my kid is going to need counseling!!! Does anyone else you know act this way about an iphone or an ipad??? He was singing a song/dance to them!!!! I don't have either one so maybe that is part of his obsession when he gets around them when we see Mimi. It was hilarious to watch this!

Sorry this post is really late. Weekend before last we had a "mini" vacation with Logan's family at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine. It was SO SO much fun. We had never been there and it was great!!!

Everything is geared toward the kids. The boys all had so much fun. Basically it's a hotel with an indoor/outdoor waterpark.

The biggest bummer of the whole weekend was that Weston wasn't tall enough to ride the big slides :( You have to be 42" and he's not there yet. Kai is tall enough though and he went on them with Jason. Here's some pictures of him.......he loved it!

We went to the Rainforest Cafe in Grapevine Mills mall one night for dinner. The boys loved all the animals.

We celebrated a few birthdays while we were there since we haven't all been together in awhile. They were all checking out Kai's new train book. And not sure what Kai is dancing about......funny.

Weston was really good at pushing Caleb around the halls of the hotel. He loved it and somehow Caleb survived it and even liked it. He is a little crazy with it.

The breakfast buffet at the hotel was so yummy! My boys loved it!!!

While we were there they were having cheerleading camps. The last morning we got off the elevator on our way to breakfast and all the mascots came around the corner. I think Weston was a little surprised at all of them. They were really cute. No kangaroo though :(

Logan turns 30!

Surprise Surprise!!! Last weekend I put together a surprise party for my hubby! He turned 30 (finally) this past Wednesday. I did it at our clubhouse on Saturday night. He actually was surprised until we turned in and he saw all the cars.

Weston almost ruined the surprise. I learned my lesson of what not to tell a 3 year old earlier in the week. Weston and I made cupcakes for the party on Thursday and took them over to Catherine's house so she could bring them to the party. Weston asked what they were for and I told them they were for Dad's birthday party. As soon as Logan got home that day, he ran straight up to Logan and told said, "It's your birthday party Dad!" I was just stunned and just sat there....I couldn't help smiling. Logan smiled of course and then kept asking Weston for more answers. He didn't say anything else but knew he was funny. So Logan knew something was up but didn't know any of the details :) Oh, the joys of a 3 year old!!

Several of our friends got to come and celebrate. We had a great time. Here's one of our favorite little boys......Parker :) I think my dad was enjoying him too. Love the Irons!!

Caleb had his spoon the whole night....it's been his latest favorite. He carries it around with him everywhere.

My parents drove in for the party. They actually went and spent the night in Fredericksburg the night before and then showed up for the party. The boys were so excited to see Pops and Grams.

Logan's parents weren't able to come but his mom made him an awesome banner for the party. It had tons of pictures on it of when Logan was a little boy. They all look SO much like Weston and Caleb. It was really cute!

Weston had a blast trying to squirt Pops the entire party. I think my dad was soaked by the time it was over.

Catherine gets the award for helping me pull off the surprise. She helped set everything up and take care of all the stuff. THANK YOU!!!! You're the best!!!

Two of Logan's roommates from A&M came in town for the weekend and stayed with us. We had a blast with them. Saturday morning we all loaded up and went out to the lake. It was a lot of fun. First time to take the boat out this summer.

Elianna and Caleb were so tired. They fell asleep with their life jackets on as we were heading back to put the boat up. I've never seen Caleb that tired!!! Jessica was so sweet to hold him while he was passed out.

Late Saturday night we played a new game called Quelf. It was a crazy game but I have to admit I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. These pictures won't make sense but they make me laugh remembering what all we had to do.

On Logan's actual birthday we ate a yummy dinner of brisket and then headed to the pool. We've been going there a lot lately. We've got 2 fish that LOVE the water. It's really fun and never crowded.

We sang "Happy Birthday" and Weston blew out his candles for him. Fun night! I sure love my birthday boy!!! I am so thankful for him as my husband, dad to my boys, and my best friend.

Glimpse

So I've been hoping and praying this day would come and it's finally come. As soon as we got home on Tuesday the boys have been playing together....yes, actually interacting and playing together. Honestly it's been like a night and day difference. Weston hasn't really wanted too much to do with Caleb so far and now all of a sudden it's like he is his best buddy! It's amazing!!! I feel like I'm finally starting to see the benefits with having them close. Here is some proof.....yes proof is needed! They've been playing trains in Weston's room for forever.....until I come in there! No fighting or hitting either!

I heard them yesterday in Caleb's room and Weston was reading Caleb his books. It was SO cute!!! And of course Caleb is loving it!

This morning they both sat in the recliner and watched "Super Why".....that would have never happened before now.

So if Weston wants Caleb to come somewhere he has learned a new way to get him there......watch the video....it's hilarious. He just started this last night and the funny thing is that Caleb lets him and actually loves it.
